Made it through the CWC without watching a single game or caring in any way. Lovely.

Yeah! The heat was ridiculous, made me see way fewer bands than usual, but still caught some great sets like Kneecap, Letlive., Anxious, and Coheed And Cambria. I also got dragged along to Baby Lasagne and have to admit it was very fun. After last year I remember thinking “I hope it’s fucking sunny next time”, so we can all blame me for it feeling like a giant kiln.

Trees? I've never been more burnt or had so many white russians in my life! It was also good to go completely off grid for 4 days lol. Nice to see us finally make a decision on a striker and land Gyokores finally

Saw them subheadline 2000 Trees yesterday and they absolutely smashed it. Setlist was awesome, just one song from IITD, and all the big bangers from the first two. There was a guy dressed in a Marshall Amp costume so they got him onstage to dance as a mascot, and then Jason climbed onto the fucking lighting rig during 27 Club lmao [MEDIA]

Saw Kneecap headlining 2000 Trees festival this weekend. Bit of an odd booking for a rock/metal/punk festival but they’d played few times on their way up and FUCK ME they were good. A couple of my friends who aren’t massively sold on them on record basically came out converted. They were incredible.

Santi Cazorla has signed a one-year deal with Real Oviedo at 40 years-old. Not sure how many minutes he'll get next season in La Liga, but he's a machine nonetheless.

If it makes you feel any better, Spurs might be sued for paying the release clause of a player who wants to join them.

Been at a music festival camping in 30°c heat and drinking nonstop for four days, but I’m sure now I’m back that everything has been going smoothly in the Arsenal world? Oh no. Some of the fans are protesting a good signing because he played for Chelsea, Gyokeres is at war with Sporting and has gone AWOL while their president chats shit in the press, and we’re still “negotiating” over Eze ffs.

I recently got Saosin's S/T on vinyl as a Furnace Fest exclusive pressing and it's singularly the best sounding vinyl I own.

We “lost” the draw for both of these vs Madrid & PSG. BUT, I don’t think that’s the difference between us & PSG tbf.

I was thinking just this morning about how badly we needed the football regulator, and was wondering what had happened to it. Glad to see it’s been voted through. Hopefully it happens very soon.

This would have been fucking fascinating. Although, I guess they would have edited out the stuff that shows what’s really going wrong there.

Listened to today’s episode of the Arsecast Extra, and they had a big section on the Partey news. Obviously the first time they can legally talk about it. Really happy (feels the wrong word) that the biggest Arsenal-based media outlet is taking such a hard line on it. They called the club’s stance and actions “pathetic” and said the people who wanted to extend his contract have brought additional shame to the club. Also called out Mikel for his attitudes with Partey compared to Ozil and Aubameyang. Also said the renewal talk had them considering giving up their season tickets. Not a particularly fun listen, but well worth it if you are interested in the actual feeling among the fanbase. And it will be heard by a LOT of the fans, so their opinions matterx

Reports that Chelsea tried to ask for Max Dowman in the Madueke negotiations and that Arsenal told them to fuck off lmao. The nerve of them. Anyway, the weird bit is that Max liked yhe report on Insta, and his dad is also in the replies saying he’s not leaving, they’re all Arsenal fans, etc. I guess as players and their parents get younger, this sort of social media use will be more common, but it’s wild to see players parents being part of the transfer speculation.
