It takes a week or two of fully commited use to feel comfortable IMO. If you’ve been using a MacBook for years it will feel different. We traveled to Chicago this past weekend. I gave my wife my M1 Air when I got the pro, and she opted to just bring the iPad. I lent her my Logitech keyboard and mouse, and she much prefers the MacBook but found it really easy to work from the iPad. I worked on both flights. The Magic Keyboard has exceeded my expectations. Like I can’t believe how much I use it and how valuable of an add on it was getting an open box one for half price. I think if someone uses a MacBook and is just testing out an iPad they will pretty quickly go back, but if you allow enough time to really get used to it it’s more than adequate IMO. It’s all preference if you need an iPad for work stuff and a MacBook it is easier to make the jump, vs just using two awesome products with a preference for one software over the other. I am just a big IPad hound and I find it satisfying to use one device for everything but I am in the minority I think. Most people have an iPad and dont use it much but the idea is fun. I fully committed a year and a half ago and can’t fathom a reason I’d ever go back to a Mac product (particularly after iOS 26 came out). Also from the leaks it seems very little is changing from the iPad m4 and m5. Stoked with my choice. I have been watching old bond movies because they’re on prime and I can’t emphasize enough how amazing the quality of the picture on the screen looks. It’s not just new special effects movies that rule. The color saturation on movies from the 60’s-80’s are a real treat.

Finally put some effort into properly setting up my home screens on iPadOS26 and this might legitimately be a MacBook-killer for me. It seems the only thing I regularly do that I can’t on iPad is manually upload albums to Apple Music.

I love it so much. It’s criminally underrated. It’s one of my most rewatched Bond movies. This was a running list as I was watching a good chunk for the first time. It probably ranks higher after completing the run. I just did a first play through and it’s miles ahead of any other Connery past his prime outing.

Alright here’s my power ranking. Excited to get another viewing in of a few while they’re on Amazon. Very much enjoyed the ride. It’s lame there isn’t an easy way to own all of them digitally in one package or Amazon can’t get the rights nailed down after purchasing the IP. Connery is legendary but the first three films are the only ones that I really enjoyed. Brosnan was a killer bond with mostly boring movies. Moore rules, I liked his run way more than anticipated. Craig is maybe my favorite. Dalton is way up there, I wish he had more cracks at it. I really like majesty and would have loved to see a couple more from him. Bond movies are back on prime! Watched every one but Diamonds this year. Have jt downloaded for a flight and will report back with my final power ranking. Overall I loved most of them and only really didn’t like a couple.

I like this one better than the last two. I listened to Anthony Ronald McDonald’s review and agree with almost all of it. I like his take that how a person responds to a Taylor Swift is essentially a Rorschach test that says more about them than it does about her music.

Too bright in the middle is awesome. I’ve seen it twice live and it’s one of their best tracks live. Peak stuff.
