“All Too Well 10” live was an “I’ll allow it” situation, but still not in my top 10 Eras Tour moments, and this is coming from someone who clocked the original as his favorite Taylor Swift song within the first 24 hours after Red leaked back in fall 2012. (It is no longer my favorite Taylor Swift song, or even my favorite song from that album.)

I quite frankly can’t stand the ten minute all too well and think the original is her best song and everyone gassing up a far inferior version has done horrible things to her as a writer

I just feel like a bit unsure where Taylor has gone to musically. A good core of what she was so damn good at was these massive melodies attached to storytelling. Or the Max Martin and first Jack era with big pop hits and now it feels like 80% of her new songs are just sort of talked through narratives with the same soundscapes. State of Grace Delicate Wildest Dreams Style All Too Well Love Story Cruel Summer Enchanted Dear John Treacherous I just feel like none of these 31 songs stand out as anywhere approaching any of those. Feels like quantity over quality.

Just finished Down Bad and yeah lol excited about what I’m hearing about the 2nd album though, still working my way through the first.
