yeah agreed. Was hoping for one more HUGE BANGER but I do think they have a really special ability to do more melodic music that a lot of bands in the scene can’t do. Excited by the record for sure

One and half listens in and this is AOTY contender for sure. Honestly feel like they shine the most on the slower songs. But yeah it’s going to be hard to beat counting sheep.

When I heard Nokia and Gimme A Hug, it just reminded me how fucking low the bar is for Drake. They are aggressively ok songs, but they stand out because they're better than terrible. Push Ups and Family Matters were easily his best tracks in YEARS. content aside, he actually sounded like he cared and brought the fire he used to have forever ago
