damn i thought erra was gonna be a guarantee for my most hyped of next year but it might be this lmao, i love these boys so much. this album is like a flagship album of a lot of my musical values so im really curious to hear how they'll build off of it i do hope the production and artwork are better this time around though lmao

Their first release since 2017, it feels like they were teasing new material even before COVID so I'm so glad this is finally out!! [MEDIA]

152 was a swing and a miss for me but having fred back in the mix is exactly what i needed to get excited about new stuff again. as long as they dont work with apte again im s'old, think he was the biggest problem for me

louds is the one for sure, such a huge closer that laps the track so victoriously. thought lord slug off the new album kinda tapped a similar energy too serpent sickness is up there too, first time i heard the breakdown had me grinning so stupidly lmao

i cant really get into white bat the way i do the others, but the highlights on that album are really sick, namely the opening duo and the two slow songs in the back half im excited for whatever they do next for sure though. their whole discog is rad

From the videos I saw - it looked like they all were having a blast and genuinely enjoying having Fred and John with them. The little jam song/intro to Make Damn Sure that they've been playing on tour makes me wonder if they have toyed with writing anything while on tour? Probably not but a guy can dream!

they broke these two out during the 2016 and 2017 holiday starland shows too. i am super glad to have seen these two tracks at least, turnpike divides is the apex of their discog for me and maybe my favorite song by anyone from my home state of new jersey

this band in general hits me really hard in the winter, idk what it is. something about their clean tones have always given like, standing outside on a snowy street energy to me lmao city is the exception, summer album through and through for me (except autumn leaves i guess lmao)

opening trio of albums in this bands discog is up w my favorite three album runs of anyone in the scene, such a diverse stretch where each album offers its own unique identity. have had all three at my favorite at various points over the years, think its suck out the poison these days
