Obligatory, "Holy hell, 20 years?!" They're Only Chasing Safety and New Medicines by Dead Poetic served as my introduction to Solid State's catalog, along with Tooth & Nail, which opened up a number of doors in terms of "the genre" and endless hours of Pure Volume, MP3.com, and Myspace searching. My (increasingly fragile and older) body is ready.

Nick Martin replied to the thread Saosin Detail Version 4.0.
Up until the end of March, Anthony's personal site stated that he would be performing with Saosin at their festival shows later this year, even after the announcement of "Saosin 4.0." Now, all dates have been removed from his tour itinerary. Undoubtedly, some shenanigans have unfolded. Admittedly, I'm sad that I was never able to see Saosin perform with Anthony; however, I'm eager to see Cove perform with the band again. I saw Cove with Saosin in 2005 while they were touring with Acceptance and Anberlin. It wasn't Cove's best night, and I'm looking forward to seeing the band again, especially knowing Cove's in a better place performance-wise and personally. Also, hearing both re-recorded material and new material with Cove? Color me excited.
