Love ethical band reunion speculation. :heart: Did a discography run through last week. Their blend of lyrical focus and musical focus is so perfect. It’s not too simple and riding on punchy lyrics and it’s not too ornate riding on emo noodling instrumentals. Everything is just right.

Better overall movie than Barbarian due to it being more cohesive and less clunky, which I note as sometimes horror fans are really forgiving of overall quality and cohesiveness in favor of specific freaky/crazy moments. So, I can see someone liking Barbarian more as that might have more crazy wtf peak moments.

Outside of the pretty sad depictions of the kid’s adjusted life and loss of his parents, the rest of the movie is def more on the fun “oh no!/I can’t believe this is happening” laughing more than being frightened. It also ends in such a cathartic way that I feel like you’d walk away not bummed and depleted like after some horror movies. I would watch it with her.

I don’t know that she was like “I’m gonna go in their dreams and scare ‘em.” I think the idea was more of the basic general “we are more connected to the supernatural in our dreams” and they were sensing her presence.

Kam is going to be Kam in a wig in everything he’s in. He is a Tracy Morgan/Pete Davidson hybrid that you’re supposed to find endearing and funny as himself and then you find it funny when he comes in and does Kam stuff in a sketch.
