    I recently went to a smaller food show for work and tried a blood orange flavored olive oil with chocolate espresso flavored balsamic vinegar and it weirdly paired so well together.

    You ever learn something like super basic about cooking and it changes your life forever? I recently learned to sear meat/fish in the pan for a little bit before putting it in the oven. Holy shit lol. I was previously doing pan only (often burnt) or oven only (often dry). The searing is so easy and comes out so much better every time lmao. Anyway here’s some blackened halibut I made tonight using my revolutionary new skills.
