I am one of those people who hand-waves a lot of the criticism of the game because it is probably my favorite game of all time (TLOU2, specifically)…but if they took that into consideration when adapting the series I can understand it. I am just so glad to see a wider audience get to experience this all for the first time. I will be destroying my YouTube algorithm with reaction vids over the next week.

Yeah, they clearly were not thinking of what would happen hinting at that. It’s like if 4 days before the Red Wedding, they put out clips that allude to that moment. Surely there were more non suggestive scenes from the upcoming episode to add to the marketing instead.

New animated series coming next year, Maul: Shadow Lord. Will cover his story from Clone Wars to Rebels. They showed an episode of Tales of The Underworld. Picks up right after Dark Disciple.

There are definitely different choices being made when creating the show. I saw s1 before playing the games, so I didn’t have any issues with Bella as I had no frame of reference for the character. Having played the games now, I can point out some distinctions between each version of the character. Since I view the game as canon and the show basically adding context or detail, I don’t mind those differences. Bella is great. The games are great. The show is great. The internet is gonna internet.

Starfighter releases 3 weeks after Avengers: Secret Wars and 1 week before Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Someone is going to blink, and my guess is that it’ll be this.

100%. I get that Ellie is immune, but if she cares about Dina so much, maybe she shouldn't be selfishly putting her in unnecessary harms way when they have a whole community of people willing to help?

I’m guessing the cordyceps pipe explains the horde getting to Jackson’s walls in the trailer. The horde will separate Joel from Jackson, he’ll save Abby, and get back to her crew, all while Jackson is preoccupied with the horde. Episode will end with golfing.

The dance scene was fucking pitch perfect. I thought they were a little heavy handed about the Abby stuff at the beginning but I trust them.
