Not sure who the source is but a few leakers have repeated it. Could be wrong, but we do know that Marvel asked Coleman to be Kang and he turned it down. Marvel’s on the hunt.

Rumors are that Tramall Tillman is speaking to Marvel about a Kang role in an upcoming film. Not sure if it’s Doomsday, Secret Wars, or both

IMO, the future of Dragon Ball would have been more interesting if Goku remained in the afterlife and Gohan/Vegeta shared roles. Vegeta could have sacrificed himself at the end of the Buu saga or early in Super. Super would then involve Gohan/Piccolo leading the groups with Goten/Trunks eventually taking over. Goku has never been anything more than [insert new power level here] guy after the Cell saga and it’s one of my main complaints with Super. Daima has been great due to its tone, but it would have worked with Gohan and/or Goten in Goku’s role.

The original Dragonball doesn’t get enough credit for how bizarre it is. There’s no attempt to craft any sort of internal consistency to the world. There are dinosaurs and magic and a literal afterlife/underworld, but also modern weaponry and futuristic cities and flying cars, yet those things never interact with each other And Goku turning into the great ape was never given an in-world explanation until DBZ. Before that he’s just a werewolf monkey

Oh yeah, I forgot Homecoming. I’ve rewatched that a few times. Haven’t really felt the desire to watch Ragnorak (other than watching scenes with the Grandmaster on YT) or Endgame; although, they’re both good.

It's Tim talking, and someone doing a weird cut and paste of bad editing on their socials. From the PR: Discussing the new album, guitarist Tim McTague says “The Place After This One is a multi-faceted idea. The fact that we grew up so sheltered and spiritual, and are trying to reconcile how we grew up against what we see now in the new age. Underoath, albeit intact and the same, is simultaneously so different. Our band has gone through a lot of chaos. I think there’s something beautiful about the idea of not just abandoning everything when things get weird. Whether it be your faith, or your band, or your marriage, or your relationships. The idea that there is a place after this one, even if it’s with the same people or it’s with the same God, or it’s with the same town. Things compound when it’s good, and you just cut out the things that are bad.” Full thing: Underoath Announce New Album

This was nowhere near as bad as people were making it out to be. Mid tier. I was thoroughly entertained. My main complaint was everything before Celestial Island felt more like a tv show than a movie. Not so much the content but how it was shot and how it appeared on the screen. The first fight sequence and the acting up until the White House was very wooden and seemed like they were just going through the motions. I liked the narrative though.

Audiences always enjoy these films. The Marvels is 80%. Eternals is 77%. People like Marvel films, even if they don't always run to the theater for them.
