Listened to Americana last night, still excellent. The novelty songs bothered me when I was in HS as I thought the more serious stuff was the "real" Offspring but now as an adult I realize the genius is in the balance and the fact that you have the likes of a novelty cover of "Feelings" AND "The End Of The Line" which makes for more dynamics

Damn, I didn't realise that Gerard Way was pushing 50. For some reason I thought he was early 40s. If they do plan to release an album, I hope they do it sooner rather than later.

I finally listened to this in a long car journey with my wife yesterday who’s a fan, and I have to say that I was impressed. It’s definitely a sugary pop record with a mix of Swifty, Olivia and some Billie sprinkled on top.

Legendary! They just don’t make gigs like that anymore. The atmosphere back then had an entirely different vibe, something you don’t experience today.

Oh, I know haha but a guy can dream. I’ve been to countless shows but being at this stupid little one still remains one of my favorite concert moments. The crowd all singing along at the end still gives me goosebumps over 20 years later: [MEDIA]
