Wild it's taking so long. I would have thought they'd capitalise on how well the first season did with at least a year later follow up.

Does anyone have all The Startling b-sides and demos in high quality that could hook me up? I used to have most but I lost them somewhere over the years.

Nights and Weekends is definitely one of their best songs.

Also, unless my ears are deceiving me, the studio version of "Nights and Weekends" that I have is different from the YouTube link posted earlier, and (imo) significantly better-sounding... Kenny's yell-y background vocals in the first verse aren't in this one, not sure if there may be other differences too. 14 Nights & Weekends.mp3

This 1000%. I love that EP but compared to the full lengths - it's the hardest one to listen to so I hope the new music is mixed/mastered differently.

Yeah, I just feel like Yuji's character has been done so many times. Overall I'm enjoying this prequel mini series over the main series

Nope. There are a few anime where a side character is more popular than the main. Like Todoroki over Midoriya.

I’m late to the party but I’m catching up on Jujutsu Kaisen. I’ve tried to pick this up a few times but season 1 was a bit of a chore to start with. I’m glad I pushed through though as it definitely picks up in the late second half. I’ve watched the film and just a few eps into season 2. Is it wrong I prefer Gojo as the main character? The prequel series at the start of season 2 has been really good.

AL is without a doubt their best and I’m a big fan of their first three records.

Hayley just posted on her instagram yesterday that “AL is her favorite child”. Usually artists almost always say their most recent record is their favorite, so the fact that TIW isn’t her favorite seems a little telling to me. I get it though, AL is supreme.

Really hoping the production / mixing is better for the new album. The Anyways EP has some good stuff on there but man, does it sound rough to listen too.

I will say... My wife may have cracked some kind of code haha. While we were waiting for 2 AM to roll around, after we listened to the first half of the album in full, my wife put the "All Too Well" (10 Min version) music video on to kill some time. Watching it, she noticed that after "the girlfriend" and "the boyfriend" broke up, it says "13 years later", and then shows "the girlfriend" has finished writing a book (which was written on a typewriter.) Jake G and Taylor broke up in November 2011, which is 13 years ago. "The Manuscript" reallyyy makes it sound like she's written a book. "But the story isn't mine anymore"

I honestly just really wanted more in the vein of Proper Dose but Letterman has grown on me.

Well a producer dictating those terms doesn't seem realistic, so I'm guessing that convo is dead.

I think folklore is the gold standard in her catalog for that. Everything in its right place, IMO.
