Even if Trump and Bibi did coordinate to hold out on the same deal that was there in May, all that would mean is that Biden left all his leverage on the table (arms embargo) in service to a guy who fuckin worked him. That’s not an excuse for Biden in the least, and 1000% not surprising. He had an opportunity to neutralize the potential political benefit Trump will get out of a ceasefire while also doing the moral thing. We all knew he never would, except a handful of libs who wanted to play 12D chess. Instead he and the Dems said fuck Muslims, fuck the left, fuck the election. Lie in your bed.

I randomly came across the most beautiful home for sale. My city often has the ugliest newer homes that all look like cheap flips. This one is gorgeous from the 1920s. And the previous owners had great taste like I wouldn't even repaint or touch a single thing unless it legit needs it. And they put in so many built in shelves. I'd have a lil library! But I'm in no position to buy a home. Just renewed our lease, and know nothing about buying a home. But I feel like this is such a rare gem I'll never find again. So paranoid someone will gut it and flip it aka ruin it. So now I'm reaching out to a mortgage broker even tho I literally have no idea what I'm doing it

This conversation reminds of something I saw recently, maybe posted in this forum, about Djimon Hounsou being financially insecure despite working constantly for over two decades and getting some awards. Publicists and agents and all those other things eat up a ton of money. Sessa's mother is a teacher and his father has been dead for a while and you never know if your career is going to keep going so it makes sense to put your name on anything. When you get on a Tom Cruise or Adam Sandler level, it is a different story.

I get that it's not all modern country artists but when Morgan Wallen can go on a national apology tour after being caught on camera saying a racial epithet and arguably become bigger than he's ever been, or small-minded songs like Jason Aldean's Try That in a Small Town can be such hits, bolstered by the support of the exact kind of people you think enjoy songs like that, the genre evidently still has a problem. You look at the reception to a Black woman making space for herself in a genre like that (and moving hella units, well done Beyoncé honestly) and I just can't be all that surprised shit like this is still happening in the year of someone's lord 2025.
