I miss these guys. I was so glad to be able to catch two of the Almost Here reunion shows a few years back, since they pulled out of their final tour with Jack's Mannequin.

I did not request a refund for Hella Mega, but with almost all of the other Ticketmaster shows that I got refunds for, they all came pretty quick (some as quickly as 48 hours after clicking the request button).

"If you look in the mirror and don't like what you see, you can find out first-hand what it's like to be me" It didn't even take 30 seconds on this album for Gerard Way to let millions of listeners know that it's okay to not be okay. What a way to bring people along for that ride. "When I grow up, I want to be nothing at all" There isn't a single weak track on this entire album. Every track has lyrics that will cut you deep. "Famous Last Words" is the greatest rock and roll song of my lifetime.

I think what she shared regarding her experiences on the tour are absolutely valid and she deserved to share them, and if it caused The Killers to re-evaluate and take overdue, necessary steps to ensure a safe touring environment, that's great. There was clearly problems with the environment that allowed to exist on that tour. The band is responsible for the crew they employ and are accountable for how that crew is managed and behaves while on tour. If the band didn't know about these behaviors and activities, there's a breakdown in trust with those that manage the crew for not passing the information along and taking immediate action. If the band DID know about this type of behavior and activities, and allowed it to happen, enabled that environment, or didn't make corrections, that's a major problem. However, I think it was irresponsible for her to make straight-up rape accusations on behalf of an unknown person regarding a situation she did not explicitly witness with her own two eyes, and then levy those accusations vaguely against "band members". That doesn't invalidate her other experiences at all, but that's a very serious extreme in her story.

I'm really surprised more big artists aren't pulling the "surprise album" move. I thought for sure after Beyonce did it in 2013, it would become pretty common, but I don't feel like that really ever happened to the extent I expected it would. I don't think you have to have the selling power of a Beyonce or a Taylor in order to do that. I seriously thought this would be a very regular occurrence after that.

This drives me nuts. Some artists are starting to make adjustments to this, but it's still a mess. My play counts are a big deal to me, and when an artist releases a single that ends up on an album 9 months later, typically there's a new version of the file on the album, so that "XXXX song - Single" file is now either a duplicate, or what I see happening sometimes is they just make that file disabled altogether. In some rare occasions, they actually update it to be a part of the album, which is preferred because I don't have to do anything on my end. It makes sense to me that artists wouldn't want multiple versions of the same song on streaming because the stream numbers are spread across multiple versions.
