    Its been on my radar for a while but i finally got The Ascent on sale, and damn, what an absolutely stunning game. Combat so far is meh, but the scenery will keep me glued to this for a minute and im still on the very first underground level.

    This is my favorite recipe for it though it's always best made by the pros. One day I'll eat it on the street in Thailand with a crisp cold beer. Thai Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao)

    I have family in New Hampshire and had some of that brand the last time I visited. It was the spicy blueberry maple syrup. Very good. I'll look for this particular flavor next time I'm back as it sounds great. If you're growing Thai Basil, I'd recommended drunken noodles. A classic.

    I once had to white knuckle it down the entirety of 89 from Burlington back to Portsmouth in the middle of the winter in my old '08 corolla during a blizzard. Saw a couple cars completely overturned on that drive. Maybe the scariest experience I've had driving anywhere.

    Yeah it looks like fried chicken but the inside is scrambled eggs. The eggs have a batter on it that gives a fried chicken texture. Soo damn good

    Made some great pasta with friends recently. Was a really simple recipe. 100g of flour + 1 room temp egg per person, just a little olive oil (didn't measure it), and some salt. Hand mixed the pasta by dumping the flour and making the well for the egg and then resting for like 40 minutes before cutting it into smaller pieces and kneading / rolling it out. (Have a pasta roller - metal hand cranked one that clips to the counter and then you roll it through progressively getting thinner). Sauce was just peppercorns, garlic, heavy cream and parmesan. Made the croutons and Caesar salad. Caesar salad was just the classic recipe of lemon juice / egg yolk / Dijon mustard and oil emulsion with a garlic / anchovy paste and parmesan added. Finished with a little Worcestershire sauce. Croutons - cut bread + seasoning of choice + 400 oven till you're happy with the texture (I like them not too crunchy). [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]

    I could eat squid every day for the rest of my life. This time I marinated it with coriander, oregano, paprika, salt, pepper, and olive oil and tossed it in a dressing with lime and lemon juice, lime zest, and olive oil. Got the tentacles nice and crispy on the grill.
