Often when there is an interview or guest appearance by “good charlotte”, they just mean the twins. They are much more known celebrities than the other band members for numerous reasons.

Yeah I get that - I grew up on these guys but hadn’t really paid attention since Good Morning Revival. Would definitely take my wife to a show because she never saw them. I lost touch with them so much I genuinely didn’t know if Billy and Paul left once I watched 30 secs of that American Idol performance. The brothers definitely sound great considering most TV appearances are lackluster.

No, Billy and Paul are very much official band members, this was just a random one off thing the brothers did. The full band played a few nights ago at Welcome to Rockville. The only member who’s status is uncertain is Dean.
