Yo the energy usage of AI is enough for me to be revolted by it's incorporation into anything aside from solid medical diagnosis, which is the singular plus I have learned about. But artists cannibalizing each other is a very fair discussion.

AI is a serious problem both because it uses copyrighted material to create works and because it cheats actual human beings out of work they could be paid to do otherwise, so I would argue anyone who blindly uses AI can and should be held accountable for its effect on the industry.
