I think it's pretty damn funny and there's probably a cool story involved. Dan said there's a few lines on the record to "pop the boys", so to speak. Wouldn't surprise me if this is also that, in a way that it's well done enough to put it out there as a little Easter egg, but it definitely would not have been a satisfying conclusion to a very serious project.

When I listened to "Paying Bills..." a few times prior to release, I had assumed Sam was a guy, then when I heard "Monogahela Park" I was like "oh! Wait! It's a woman!" And then I've since heard Dan/Holden refer to Sam as "they" on the podcast and now I have no idea! Record is incredible.
