Yeah put me in the camp of Night Swim was unfairly hated on. Weirdly enough it reminded me a lot of Insidious but instead of The Further taking place in the mind, it took place in a pool. Bet this movie would’ve done much better in the 2010’s

Alright, you all should have never given me this power. My pick is the 1974 made-for-TV movie turned cult-classic Bad Ronald. Predating Black Christmas and influencing The People Under the Stairs, Bad Ronald is the OG someone’s living in the walls movie and comes in at a brisk 74 minutes. I believe it’s for rent on Prime, but it’s also on my Plex which I think most of you have access to, and if not I will gladly share. I can also send it to you directly if neither of those are options.

Abigail was a blast. Way more Ready or Not than Scream. Cast was great. Had my issues with their Screams, especially the last one, incl. Barrera, but I liked what they did/her a lot more here.

Looks about as goofy as expected. Shyamalan's dialogue has always been rough, but it was particularly bad in Old. Then Knock at the Cabin thoroughly surprised me, so I don't know what to expect from this. But yes, all in on Hartnett

thought Immaculate was fine, not great. seems like they wanted a tense slowburner and a movie where dudes get choked out by rosary beads. I'm fine with either of those but you need a very strong framework to try and do both, this script was just okay definitely glad I decided on catching First Omen on the big screen and Immaculate on streaming, the former was way better
