I was lukewarm on “Half Past Three” on first release but man has it grown on me in album context. Happy the album’s finally out for everybody when there’s a slight chill in the air, we could all use a little love in our lives these days.

Not as instant as his last couple for me, where I was instantly in. But this sounds pretty good. Going to have to give it a few more listens before deciding if I want it on vinyl.

Taylor might have track fives but Ruston has track six. Brave, Mending Song, Twisted Root are some of the best emotional songwriting of the decade.
