It lost a lot of hype due to Seasons 2 3 and 4 not being as good and taking an entire presidential administration break in between lol

They did manage to give me one last inconvenience, however! I think I told y’all they had to take it to a shop an hour away to do the EV body work, so when they were done they asked me if I wanted to pick it up there or tow it back, I said to tow it back. Now the original shop I took it to is like a 10 min walk from my house, I specifically took it to that one because of this. Anyways, apparently there are two locations in my town, guess which one they took it to? Not the one I can walk to! They took it to the other one that’s about a 20 minute drive away. Absolute dumbasses. Why didn’t you look at the paperwork to see which shop it originally came from? So now I had to bug Jocelyn to drive me over there so I could pick it up. Idiots

perfect screenshot to illustrate the kind of day Trevor Lawrence had yesterday (thanks @morgantayler ) It’s 3rd and 5 mid fourth quarter. Gotta have it - it’s still too early to go for it on fourth before we get to midfield and we still had all 3 timeouts… so im not mad we punted and tried to trust our defense when we didn’t get it. *His blocking looked like THIS*, he still reads the play and gets rid of it in less than 3 seconds, ball goes perfectly between 3 zone defenders and into BTJ’s hands, *BTJ flat out drops it* [MEDIA] Trev did literally everything he could, he can’t block for himself or catch the ball for his receivers

And they already had my seat saved and the TV in front turned to Jags Seahawks, god I love this place lol I’ve started just giving the bartender an extra $20 before I order anything to show my huge appreciation. This is a legit heritage Baltimore sports bar that’s been here over 40 years but the whole community and the bartenders embrace their neighborhood Jags fan

Served famous rapper Common and 5 other guests tonight, surprise VIP table and everyone in the building was like “yep that’s gotta be Randall” got glowing compliments from all of them unprompted before they left. I know it sounds made up but legit Common himself, one of the guys and both the women had really nice things to say about how polished and passionate my service was. Helllll yeah.

Expected that loss considering we’re fielding no names at CB and had to play Skipper at LT also wild to me KC didn’t get a single flag but it’s not why the lions lost, but it does get side eyed branch is an idiot and he needs to cut that shit out otherwise he’s definitely not gonna get an extension when it’s time.

Randall Analysis Nobody Asked For -Jags game showed that bad performance in the trenches can ruin a game. I think the Seahawks trenches are not better than ours on paper but they showed the fuck up more than ours did. They were sacking Lawrence in 2-3 seconds with no pocket to step into and no escape route to the outside either, and blocking the shit out of our pass rush. Even in the modern, more finesse & explosives based NFL it’s still very hard to win a game if you lose the physical battle that badly. It’s the main reason we lost cause it’s what ruined most of our offensive drives. You can’t just rest on talent, the Seahawks came into the game angrier and with a bigger chip on their shoulder and they fucked with us because of it. Jags run defense played well but I didn’t see that ANGER that wanted to get in Sam Darnold’s face and ruin his day. -this was also an example of how the Jags biggest weakness on defense is their safeties still have questions. Andrew Wingard is bad and I was correct that the Jags fan base and Jags coaches overrate him based on vibes - I’m sorry but our beloved weird Florida man who’s funny in the press isn’t actually a good starting safety. He makes plays as a sub-in just off raw effort and hustle! But he is so undisciplined / loose in zone coverage and they exploited the shit out of him. He gave up the long JSN TD (it was Cover 3, he’s responsible for the inside seam / downfield hash not Newsome). He gave up two other long plays that led to another TD and the long pass to Barner that sealed the game. But we have to use him at FS cause we don’t have a healthy true FS right now and he’s the fastest / rangiest guy we have. We have other upside/potentially good safeties but all everyone other than Caleb Ransaw (our injured rookie - we need him back badly) are strong safeties at heart, including Eric Murray, who I trust more as a single high safety than Wingard but who has also been making too many plays in the box to ignore. -your secondary is only as good as your weak link. In addition to Wingard’s gaffes, Jourdan Lewis had a bad game as well, and I think it’s because JSN is an incredible route runner versus zone and Lewis isn’t nearly as comfortable when he has to play a lot of man. He gave up the Kupp TD with bad form/technique. Thankfully we adjusted and subbed Montaric Brown after that, he certainly prevented the score from getting worse. The rest of the coverage played well!! Newsome / Hunter / Brown had good defense reps, linebackers didn’t give up anything egregious. But Wingard and Lewis alone gave up enough explosives for the Hawks to score 20 and win. -Trevor honestly played as well as I could expect. He just did not have the blocking to make anything happen once we got down early to a couple explosive plays. I was happy with his personal performance - he was poised, he was reading the field well, he wasn’t making risky or bad decisions, his pocket presence could still improve if he wants to win games with no blocking like Mahomes/Burrow does but he wasn’t awful at it. When he had no choice he took sacks like a man / cut his losses and didn’t make it worse for the team, got back up, kept confidently completing passes the next drive. I was proud of how he was responding to the situation and staying in the game. His only almost-picks were 1) a would-be game tying TD that got called back by penalty 2) because BTJ stumbled right before he got to the ball. -but the amount of pressure he was under… pressured on over 50% of his drop backs… it’s amazing we were still in the game and not turning the ball over lol. We had a chance on a late drive with some momentum and BTJ dropped it, 3rd and 5, perfect timing clean ball placement from Trevor just a deadass drop. Who knows how the game finishes if we make that conversion - we would’ve made it to midfield and threatened a score. This one’s not on Trevor. Team HAS to be more reliable and block / catch better. -Travis Hunter’s first noticeable mistake by my account was very minor in theory but HUGE in context - he lined up barely offsides, just maybe an inch or two in front of the line of scrimmage. This literally took away a BTJ TD that would’ve tied the game and made everything I typed above not matter lol. Elf was annoyed at the very meticulous call by the refs but it was enough that you could see him offsides on camera - I’m like damn there’s no better way for him to learn that lesson and I’m glad he learned it early lol. even the studs gotta get humbled in order to become great and never make silly mistakes like that again that wipe points off the board.

Not to get too sappy around here but my 35th year was probably the hardest year of my life with my wife being sick, losing my grandfather to brain cancer, parents being sick/injured, getting laid off for the first time in my career, and just the general shit in the world that's going on, but things over the last few months have completely flipped and life has opened up. Just want to say thanks for being a place for me to escape and it's been great getting to know all of you guys better, even if we get on each others nerves sometimes. A lot of days reading the thread provides a lot of laughs and helps.

Nothing too crazy but brings me right back to high school timeframe and being cheated on (with someone in my immediate family) and also my best friend almost committing s******/being m*rdered due to his own grooming trauma (mentioned before) and our only cope was hanging together, getting chipotle for lunch and chugging that good good pibb from the soda fountain before then getting drunk and going to our shift together at a pizza restaurant, which we then would get drunk until 4-5 am after. And repeat. It’s all good now so every time I get chipotle I’ll get a pibb and think “damn that time sucked but also was a good time with my buddy all things considered”
