First thing is I'd say to remember that supplements are meant to supplement an otherwise solid diet and lifestyle. So if you're not eating protein and vegetables, drinking lots of water, getting some fermented foods in, sleeping well—then fix those things first. Otherwise, it's pretty clear that magnesium, creatine, and fish oil all really work. They're all fairly inexpensive and have a minor but noted effect. I take those, plus a multivitamin, and then I often (but not consistently) will take both collagen and biotin, because they tend to help my nails, skin, and hair. And caffeine. And ibuprofen. And protein shakes. Every so often I'll try something new, not really notice an effect, and stop worrying about it; but those are the things I stick with.

Howdy yall. Happy to say I have lost 50 lbs in the past 18 months. Never thought I'd be able to say that, and it also didn't play out like I always envisioned it. There were definite peaks and valleys but overall I just have been tweaking my lifestyle and habits little by slowly the past year and a half, I feel great. I just joined the gym again, i've been working out at home and just walking (sometimes jogging) at the park I live next to. I want to lift more and get stronger now as well as crank up my cardio game. Anyone have some simple advice for developing a lifting routine? I get so overwhelmed with trying to plan it out. There's soooooo much info out there about how to do it. I plan on being at the gym at least 5 days a week, its basically right next to where i live (a half mile away tops ). I have an app called fitbod which layed out a nice routine for me day to day. I guess i'm just not sure how I should break down what to work out and when. Still want to lose at least another 30 lbs. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

And here are my reviews of the gels I’ve tried over the past 2 weeks – Hüma Chia Energy Gel: Not totally different from a traditional gel like Gu, but I liked the taste and texture of the Huma much better. No burning sensation in the back of my throat, no stomach troubles. Would recommend. UCan Edge: Did not enjoy these. They did the job, and the texture was fine, but there’s a “sharpness” to the taste that made them unpleasant in the moment.
