Such a good album. Keep coming back to this, just wish it was longer. Easily in my top 5 of the year.

A bundle of nerves right now. Tomorrow is my last day at a job I've worked at for over 7 years. kind of crazy. Excited to start the new job I landed next week, but also very nervous about getting off to a strong start and fight off the feelings of imposter syndrome. Things have been looking up for me after a couple rough years, so I'm excited, just also very very nervous.

Really liking this. Can't think of anything here that really misses for me. Stay in partciular is a big winner.

Someone else on here can definitely articulate it better than I can, but I'll do my best here... - He talks about honoring his accuser while also showing receipts. How is that honoring his accuser? You're not really honoring an accuser if you are going to be adversarial and go through everything the accuser did wrong. It's insincere. - He wants to apologize "right or wrong" rather than flat out just apologizing wholeheartedly. The "right or wrong" just makes it sound like he's apologizing for the sake of apologizing. Again, insincere. - "Work toward whatever restorative justice looks like" = acting clueless as if he didn't know what he did wrong, so he'll just let the general public decide and tell him "whatever" it is. He is using socially-conscious buzz words like "restorative justice" thinking it can come across like a mature response, but to me it just makes him look like he knows what he actually did was wrong and he did it anyways, but still refuses to acknowledge what he did. Yet again, insincere. - The bottom line of the apology comes across as "Ok fine, I won't make music anymore, I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY RILA, THIS IS YOUR FAULT!"

I'm enamored with this album. It's all I want to listen to right now. I'm really surprised they skipped Chicago on this tour. It kind of looks like it was routed around Riot Fest and then that fell through? Hope they get back here next year.

Album rules. I'm glad to have the two guitar version of Algernon back especially, Joe is an unreal guitarist but there's a magic to the interplay between him and Colin.
