Barca trying to find every way possible to not score when in the box.

Almost half the board wanted to fire him after the Bayern loss, so... betting on Koeman losing his job is probably wise. It'll cost 12m to fire him... but not making any European competition would cost more.

I defer to @Garrett for this but it seems like the pressure would increase especially if they have a bad showing against Benfica next week and follow with a poor performance against Atleti the following weekend.

Including today, Barca have 3 matches scheduled over 7 days and 5 matches over 13 days. Imagine this could be a grueling spell for them and make or break for Koeman.

I think they are the first Moldovan team in history to reach the groups/32, and they don’t even count themselves as Moldovan which is even crazier.

Sheriff Tiraspol winning is absolutely wild actually. Is this the farthest a Moldovan team has ever reached? Has there been one out of the group stages?

Some thoughts about the Barca-Bayern game: I didn't really know what to make of the current Barcelona team before the game. It's still Barcelona but with the departure of Messi and with their current financial struggles they should be weaker than a year ago. But I also haven't followed them closely lately, so I didn't know what to expect. The first 20 minutes we had some problems to get into the game I think, but then subsequently we took over the initiative. Müllers goal, while a bit lucky, was already deserved at this point. We more or less controlled the game from then on but there were still so many inaccuracies, where we butchered chances. In the end we won relatively easily but I still think this was far from our best game this season. Something was off and I don't really know what it was. We were often a little too late in challenges and passed the ball sometimes into spaces that were just not perfect. I really don't know what to make of this game. A 3-0 away in Barcelona is of course a result that gives you confidence but I still don't know if it happened because we were so good or because Barca was really bad. And then, another interesting thing I noticed: there were quite some players in the Barca team that I did not know at all before, especially the substitutes. It really felt like a new era for Barca. That was probably more due to me not following Spanish teams, but still, it felt a bit weird.

So this journalist called Romain Molina is a very reliable guy with lots of contacts and insiders in French football. He has come out stating the following: Deschamps injured a player on purpose A popular French NT player who has problems with drinking has assaulted 2 women, his club managed to cover it up and transfer him out A player pranking another one by introducing him to a minor and having him sleep with her. Lots of sexual abuse/rape cases in football Sexual abuse cases at FFF for women's team Ben Mendy has done "unimaginable" stuff. Man City more reluctant to sign French players now, will now investigate on their private life beforehand Some clubs/agents pay Transfermarkt to pimp their players' data Arthur/pjanic deal was illegal and nobody did anything about it Alcool, agressions : les terribles accusations contre un Bleu Some of this is crazy. The Mendy stuff is insinuating that it is REALLY unspeakable shit, and the things about the player hitting and abusing two women is nuts. I can't think who it would be.
