    Yeah, it's clear to me that she failed to protect her employees from a hostile work environment, and was recklessly abusive of her status, so I don't want to brush off her behavior. However, I think the reason she faced so much backlash isn't because her behavior was especially severe, but instead because it directly contradicted her image as a wholesome, positive, jack-of-all-trades celebrity. in contrast, artists like Travis Scott and Morgan Wallen thrived in the face of controversy because their scandals reinforced what their fans already liked about them (Scott's fans liked his dangerous reckless persona, and Wallen's fans, presumably, liked racial slurs).
