    As Daniel said, the microplane is a game changer. It's also great for zesting fruit and grating all sorts of spices. I use my microplane almost every time I cook. Sometimes I'll microplane dark chocolate or cinnamon onto an affogato when I'm feeling festive.

    Bought a microplane this weekend and kind of blown away by how thinly it shreds cheese. Made aglio e olio tonight and the parmesan just melted right into it
