I like Burn Burn better than HIPT and probably even Somethingness as well.
Meg Myers playing the 1996 RnB hit Pony by Ginuwine on piano
I thought it was their best album in literally a decade
Still think this (Children of Light Pt I) has the potential to be my favorite song of hers when it's officially released on her next album.
None of these teams eliminated need the first overall pick.
Also the album is very good! Hadn't listened to those old Thirty Years War tracks in likely over a decade.
Speaking of Frank Ene, he recently released his first solo EP
Haven't listened to these guys in forever. Met them all (although with Frank Ene instead of Tim Ward) back in 2008.
Somewhere Out There might be my least favorite song on the entire album, to be honest.
My top tier is Happiness, Spiritual Machines, and Naveed, with Clumsy and Gravity a close second tier.
I might throw Curve in that second tier too.
Underrated for sure but not my favorite.
Loved Jeremy, but Jason Pierce is no slouch either.
I probably like Burn Burn better than Somethingness aside from a few tracks, to be honest.
But Nice To Meet you is probably the best track on either.
I thought Curve was possibly their best album since Spirtual Machines but then Somethingness was a step back.
Yeah I'm cautiously optimistic. We'll have to see how the clips they share on the 20th are.
