Little Oblivions is probably my least fave of Julien solo, but Julien’s first two are probably my fave out of all three’s records. Although Phoebe comes close with SITA and Punisher. I haven’t listened to either in a while though.

Probably not gonna be able to be on the rail for the show in Boston, but seeing clips of the stuff they have going on during Famous Last Words has made me insanely jealous already.

I maintain that fans set themselves up for failure. This tour was specifically to celebrate The Black Parade, and you'd think after being let down so many times people would start to understand to take what they do at direct face value: if it's posted before the tour, it's going to have to do with the tour. Maybe that's my cynicism talking, I don't know.

I guess I should read a little bit more before commenting, but I feel like that is an incredibly in-depth and transparent apology for a list of largely bad faith "allegations" (racist tweets aside). I also feel like while technically of age, 19 is still a largely dumb and young age for kids trying to be edgy and make their friend laugh, especially when they are unfortunate enough to have grown up with full internet access. Pile on the fact that people are asking her to take accountability for the actions of a partner she is still getting to know days after being confronted with new information, and...idk. It's all very depressing. Not my place to "forgive" racism of any kind, but I feel like she really is doing her due diligence here. I challenge anyone who thinks they haven't grown mentally and emotionally between the ages of 18 and your late 20s.

I’ve been sick of superhero shit for years but damn I fully loved this. Felt like being dropped right into a 90s Saturday morning cartoon.

Curiosity got the better of me and I read the screenplay for Weapons (it’s out there in the world). I write screenplays and make short films in my spare time so wanted to see how someone like Cregger writes. All I will say is that I’m very much still looking forward to it.

Rewatched Targets (1968) last night. For a Boris Karloff film from the 60s, it is deeply, deeply shocking and disturbing, just in how blatant and unglamorized the violence is (which is the point). Maybe not traditional horror, but I can't see how you could classify it as anything else. Real prescient American nightmare shit. Essential viewing; it would be in my top five if I were to redo my list from the first page of this thread.
