That's a very interesting read. I'd admittedly forgotten about how his tenure in San Antonio ended, and it definitely hits different now knowing all that's transpired since. You wonder if it had been a team other than the Clippers, would they have caved to as many of his camp's demands? It's really the perfect storm of an insecure team and an extremely high-maintenance player.

I love that Davey changes his look every single record and doesn’t give a solitary fuck.

Yeah I played the Bananza DLC. Should’ve been $5. Not $20

Right? Obviously he had to be there , but c'mon! I'd ask how Prodigy is a trillion dollar company, but we saw the caliber of people working for WY in episode 5.

Fire the lead scientist in your super secretive lab but give him 12 hours of unsupervised access to pack his things? Grocery store employees would get escorted out when they're fired. Otherwise, really good ep

That's what I suspected. I think they pretty much showed everything there is in the trailer. I'm not really into paying another $20 for stuff that could've very easily been part of the base game considering it just launched a couple months ago. I'll inevitably overpay for some Nintendo stuff, but this might be a pass.

I'm sure the idea of putting a human consciousness into a synthetic body seemed appealing initially, but giving what are essentially children those kind of abilities and responsibilities is obviously such a terrible choice.

You can take solace in knowing that Brogdon will probably miss a ton of games, and that his actual contributions aren't close to what he theoretically brings.

Ballmer invested another $10 million in March 2023, at which point Aspiration was long past the point of no return. His claims of being "conned" with his first investment are definitely holding up really well now.

That bike gameplay in Prime looked pretty rough. Its still my most anticipated for the rest of the year but at this point I'm a bit worried it's going to be Prime 3 all over again. Probably the most disappointed I've ever been in a game and I still think about how bad it was every couple months.

Right?? I legit thought they were gonna announce a Metroid racer instead of a Prime release date. There were some good things announced, but I don’t think any of them will sell systems to casual gamers like Animal Crossing or Mario Kart DLC would.

The things that were good in this Direct were incredible and the things that were bad were so god awful Overall I always expect nothing so I'm happy but some of the things were like "you have GOT to be kidding me"

I forgot the Mario movie existed, so I got really excited for about 10 seconds when the trailer started. I'm happy we finally got a Metroid release date, but disappointed there wasn't even a mention of anything Animal Crossing yet again.

He also doesn't appear to have invested in Aspiration at all until that payment, so either he's got even worse business instincts than Ballmer, or things are exactly what they seem to be.
