For some reason the first thing I recalled when thinking about the album release was that the band refused to make a censored version to be sold at Walmart. Someone on AP was upset that there wouldn’t be a censored version they could buy for their child.

Got an ad for an Iggy Pop/Sex Pistols show here in Massachusetts on 9/25. Not sure if it's part of a larger tour or just a show or two surrounding that CBGB Festival but... Always interesting to see how certain rumors/rumblings in this thread turn out to be at least partly true. Hah.

if I recall, I don’t remember who said it, but they said they heard it from someone and had like four things they were told that were all true. So I think that original person was mislead. So well wrong I don’t think it was plain made up. But yea it did get really far.

I saw it at a smaller stage at our state fair last year (lol). It was fun! I didn’t recognize anyone else and they didn’t make a point to make it seem like anyone besides Marky was from any notable bands. They basically got on stage, ripped through as many songs as they could in 45 minutes and that was it. Nothing too special, but if you’re a Ramones fan I’d say it’s worth checking out if there’s no one else you wanna see during their set. That said, after seeing it once I’ll probably skip it if there’s someone else I’m interested in at the same time haha.

The inevitable Weird Al - Blink conflict is going to be anxiety inducing. I think I would choose Weird Al just because who knows when he'd tour again but missing my first time seeing Blink with Tom would be brutal

I just really hope Rilo Kiley and blink aren't on at the same time. Ideally I can see them & Weird Al too for at least a bit, cus honestly the rest of the day is not my favorite. But I'd prefer Friday to be the lightest day for me, I hate when a festival is front loaded.
