    This is crazy. A giant club, one of the most historic in England, is being killed by its owner. Obviously, this has been a long running situation, but it’s emerged that non-playing staff haven't been paid in two months, and are planning to leave en mass. Meanwhile, players haven’t been payed on long enough that if they aren’t paid tomorrow, they can leave on a free. All this, when Chansiri has the money. He just can’t be bothered to run the club anymore, and seems to hate the fans because they call him on his bullshit. I don’t know what the solution is, but I REALLY think if the owner cannot pay the wages, we should have a law that basically takes the club off of them. [MEDIA]

    Agreed. Classic case of not taking their chances when they were on top. Should have been 3 or 4 up, goal before halftime is a killer to concede too. Scott going off injured hasn't helped either.

    Completely agree. Was actually going to post earlier about how superior 8 Deluxe is to World. I'm really let down by World, personally. Maybe because I got my hopes up too high, but it just feels like a step backwards in almost every way. Knockout Tour is really fun, but doesn't make up for other drawbacks. The open world is fairly lifeless and doesn't really add much for me. No real motivation to complete P Switches or explore much. The controls are a bit finnickity with the karts too. But the main thing for me is the complete butchering of Grand Prix mode. Essentially abandoning 3 lap races in favour of the lifeless, driving in a straight line between each circuit. So boring and really counter to what makes Mario Kart fun (for me). I'm not against it totally, but feel they could have switched the ratio a little between the 3 lap ones and the journey ones, and it would be much more fun.

    I definitely prefer Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to Mario Kart World. World is a good game, but it relies way too much on chance. In 8 Deluxe I could sweep the 150 cc cups blindfolded. In World it's like the game is programmed to rarely let you win. Kind of takes the fun out of it when it feels winning all comes down to chance. (Which I know Mario kart is infamous for that, but in 8 Deluxe it wasn't as reliant)
