    Statement: Dougie Freedman - News - Crystal Palace F.C. Pretty big news for Palace. As far as I'm aware, a lot of the credit for the development of the club in recent years is given to Freedman, and he's been linked to a lot of the recent big Sporting Director roles.     Part of the squad is understandable in that we're at the business end of the club season and some players would probably rather focus on that, plus this set of internationals is a bit of a free hit for Tuchel in that we should be winning both games handily regardless. But it's his first squad, you'd think he'd want to stamp his authority, ring the changes early, start building for the future. Bringing players back from the cold that have no future like Henderson, Walker or that won't likely be involved come the next tournament like Burn (even if he is in form) is just bizarre.
