    I can understand the let down if you compare this to their older stuff. This is undeniably poppy as hell by almost any standard, which contrasts pretty hard against their old raw sound. But give it a chance. Feels like the Spiritual Cramp DNA is still there for sure, so you might come around to it after a bit.

    Only halfway through, but: WOW. The way they've kept a swaggering punk backbone while infusing enormous earworm hooks is something else. Most of the time, I understand that I listen to "niche" music, the kind of stuff where even if I personally love the hell out of it, I know it is definitely not for everyone. But this strikes me as a platinum hit if it were released in like 2004.
