Two Tongues Cancel Tour

First tour ever and can't follow through. Super unfortunate.

Honestly, just kind of fed up with these guys after the past couple singles and now cancelled tour. Good riddance.

 

why didn't they apologize?

 

I feel like Max has been creatively empty for almost a decade, so that's no surprise.

They still promised a future tour and that they're up to something in the near future. I wonder what those could be.

And I wonder wtf happened.

 

Also, the venue refunded me yesterday, like 2 hours after this was announced. It was impressive.

I'm putting that money towards the Circa Survive, mewithoutYou, Turnover tour. Woot. :)

 

I wonder if it had to do with pre-sales not doing well?

 

Really curious as to why. Hope everything is okay in both the Bemis and Conley camps.

I know everyone hates the productiono the new songs, but am I the only one that thinks the actual songs are awesome? Sounds like that old early 2000s sound that everyone wishes they could accurately replicate. I bet they would've been fantastic live. The first Two Tongues album (although I didn't give it much of a chance) sounded so uninspired to me, and seemed too safe and a waste of their collective genius. These songs are the perfect blend of their desired sounds, despite the terrible production.

I agree 99% with ya (I really enjoyed the first album!). These new songs would have sounded so awesome live.

Luckily, it seems like they still plan to tour eventually.
