Twenty One Pilots Perform on SNL

Are their performances of Ride always that underwhelming vocally?

 

Found both songs very underwhelming which is too bad cause they could have gone all out if they played different songs.

 

Typically he has the crowd sing most of the chorus

 

Found it strange that their first SNL performance lacked their one strong suit - energy.

 

Their three current big songs (Heathens, Ride, and Stressed Out) are all performed with Tyler on bass, so those songs are much lower key in the energy department. They're no Car Radio or HDS in terms of energy

 

In their defense, Heathens is....not a hype song lmao
