Wow is it really 7 years since Daisy came out? Seems like 3 or 4 years ago damn.

 

Maybe they're following the same timeline they did with the lyric books.

 

At Riot Fest Chicago Jesse said the following before playing I am a Nightmare:

"This is a new song. But... it's going to be an old song by the time you hear anything new from us."

Implication being that there's nothing impending in the pipeline.

 

Maybe instead of 2000 - 2018, they meant 2009-2018 to signify the amount of time between LP4 and 5.

Quality reference. Seeing as these new BN songs totally sucked and the new TBS was solid, is this the release "cycle" (if you can call it that) where TBS overtakes BN?

I love that this lack of news is news unto itself. Brand New can do nothing and still get coverage. Also, I'm very sad that there is still nothing new :(

I must be the only one that took it as him mocking himself and the band.

 

And no one was surprised...

 

It'd honestly be a mistake for them to ever release a new album now. It can never live up to the hype. I imagine that has to be a part of their thought process at this point.

 

Honestly at this point I feel like the new album is going to be a huge letsdown. We all have such high expectations and them constantly blue balling us isnt helping.
