Morrissey’s Alleged Technical Tour Rider

All seems pretty standard for what we know of Morrissey. The "No selfie Sticks" part is brilliant though.

 

I always find it to be completely absurd that this is just a normal and accepted practice

 

I'd love to see one of these for the bigger scene bands (blink, fall out boy, Green Day, fob, etc)

 

I wonder how much of this is actual, legit stuff, and how much of it is Van Halen-style "no brown M&Ms" kind of stuff.

If anything, I think it's the "no onions" part that falls under that one.

 

Word. These riders used to have an important function way back in the day, but I doubt Morrissey's rider is geared towards that kind of safety goal...

ok but I kinda wanna screenshot the part about not skimping on the vegetarian food and send it to the people in charge of catering the meetings I have to attend sometimes cause it's a struggle lol. Everything in there is what I'd like to say but just think as I glare at my sad, protein-less, nearly empty plate.

 

My favorite part:

Some a quite reasonable. But I'd love to just wear a Gaga meat suit or waft steak at him to piss the old cobber off

 

I guess I just think it's ridiculous that musicians of his level are treated as so special and important that it's not just, like, it gets catered or whatever and if you don't like it bring your own food or don't eat it

 

i think it's funny how serious he is about meat but eggs are still fine

 

I love seeing these. Pretty much what I expected from Morrissey too.

Speaking as someone who has cooked in the fine dining world, you'd be surprised at how common onion allergies are. My guess is that someone in the crew has that allergy.
