    Weezer and Wavves will be releasing a limited edition 7″ split. Weezer will contribute the previously unreleased “Fake Smiles and Nervous Laughter,” and Wavves will be covering Weezer’s “You Gave Your Love To Me Softly.” Pre-orders will be up on September 12th.

    That cover art leads me to believe it's a B-side off Pinkerton and if so- I'll lose my shit. It's my favorite record.

    Aaaaand it sold out. Dammit. I'm on vacation, so I didn't really care to wait at checkout at the instant it went up.

    Update: after refreshing the page a few times, I snagged a black one for $8. Rad.
