A Day To Remember’s much anticipated new album, Bad Vibrations, will be out this Friday, September 2nd. A Day To Remember (vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Kevin Skaff and Neil Westfall, bassist Joshua Woodard and drummer Alex Shelnutt) recorded Bad Vibrations with producers Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX). Released on the band’s own ADTR Records and distributed by Epitaph, the album was mixed by Grammy winner Andy Wallace (Foo Fighters, Slayer) and is the follow-up to 2013’s Common Courtesy.

Fans can get “Bad Vibrations” and “Paranoia” as instant downloads by clicking here to pre-order Bad Vibrations on iTunes. Pre-order bundles are also available on the band’s official site.

This album sounds like it was made using garageband.

The album art is fun to look at on the real album. It might make me buy a physical copy. I have yet to listen to much of it, yet.

  10. Now I'm intrigued

  11. Yeah that's how I'd describe The Blasting Room.

I listened to the album this morning. It's heavier than Common Courtesy but it's not as catchy. I like their more pop punkish sounded material more than their metal. There are only 2 songs that I don't like at all on this album though. I'd give it an 8/10. Not as good as Common Courtesy but definitely not bad.

3 other songs kind of have the pop punk sound of Naivety. This album seemed to focus more on the heavy side.

  15. I love this album but I have always been more a fan of their heavy sound than their pop punk sound

The guitar tone is really really bad...But, the album is outstanding 9/10....The catchiness isn't as apparent but it think they took some risks with the different vocal styles.

The album is better than I thought, but still slightly disappointing to me. Still feel like I'll be revisiting it more than some other albums this year like Beartooth, Issues, and PTV

Don't you think the mix sounds muddy? Listen to CC and compare, CC is so crisper, cleaner and fuller. Maybe that's just the sound they were going for.

Considering how meticulous Jeremy is how the album sounds is intentional whether it works is a completely different thing. Album is better than cc imo.

I just want these guys to win. I've been a fan of them for 10 years and they ALWAYS came to San Antonio which was so cool because no one ever did. Bad Vibes is gonna be a good one, I feel it.
