Wander - Precipice is out today.

I found this band late last year, and it instantly clicked. I was floored when a new track came up on my Release Radar on Spotify last week, and to discover this album is out today has me celebrating.

EDIT: Apparently they're going by Wvnder now? I hate that stupid trend, but I understand it's usually to differentiate from other artists by the same name so I can give it a pass.

Woke up early to listen to Bayside's Vacancy. They've been money for their whole career, but Cult missed me. It never stuck. Vacancy I've given two or three listens through now, and it's already way more catchier and just better overall. This is the Bayside I know and love. I knew they weren't gonna let me down.

I also discovered the Wander S/T earlier this year, and I also had a new WVNDER song on my Release Radar today :-).
Didn't realize it was the same band until I checked out their discography.

The new Crystal Castles album is fantastic. Getting a chance to see them live next month and I'm really excited. The new singer, Edith, does really well taking over for Alice Glass.

Excited for that new Bayside too.

Lol it's almost like clickbait here. Regardless my interest is peaked too and after listening to Crystal Castles again and then Bayside, I'll happily check them out.

Haha, that was my intention :-). But I stand by my comparison, and I really think this is something for the Chorus community. They're a relatively new band, and from England, so I guess that's why this is flying under the radar.

I'm enjoying this, I think. The influences you listed are definitely on point...almost too much. At times it sounds like b-sides from I'm Like a Virgin Losing a Child. But hey, at least it's early Manchester Orchestra they're pulling from.

Have Wvnder, Bayside and Aaron Gillespie on my list for today. I'll be giving Black Foxxes a try, never heard of them.

Then there's the Metallica and Menzingers singles.

This weekly thread is probably my favorite thing about chorus, I always find new stuff to like! Bayside for sure and then some of the listed ones in this thread for me probably. Aaron Gillespie acoustic Underoath covers? Yes please.

About halfway through Black Foxxes and it's REALLY good. I'll throw it into rotation for the foreseeable future. Hadn't hear about this band until this thread and this is why I love Chorus.
