always interesting to hear how much changes from demo to final song

wonder how much is due to the band or the influence of a producer/ghost writers

    Sending my love

Love this song. Not the first time they have released "earlier versions" of songs. "Make Room" has some early parts of "Na Na Na", and you could even say "Boy Division" has some parts of "We Don't Need Another Song About California"

By no means am I an MCR fan, but i always enjoy hearing early versions of songs I know. Really enjoyed hearing the framework and noticing what parts were changed. Pretty cool.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Feels more like a Three Cheers demo like that I thought. Interesting. Definitely like it better as Welcome though.

This song came a long way. It really does sound like a 3 cheers demo.

This is so awesome. Gerard is always so wordy in their demos and I love it.

I've noticed the same. This song has this "common man" feel to it (lyrically) that's littered throughout Hesitant Alien. It seems the theatrical/fantasy element always gets added afterwards through tweaks and rewrites. Makes me realize that Hesitant Alien is probably how he wanted to write for many many many many many years now.

Yeah, considering the original title was 'The Five of Us Are Dying', I'd bet this was written before BP was even going to be a concept album. It's always bizarre to hear Ray strumming away to "Sleep" on Life on the Murder Scene.
