Assassin’s Creed Trailer

I like that they've created new characters/setting for the movie. I love the Ezio trilogy, but Fassbender will be a badass assassin.

I'm actually impressed with this. I'm going to regret saying this, but could this maybe be the game-to-movie that's actually a decent film?

 

Love the way elements from the game translated over to the film in this trailer. Looks really good, and am hoping it doesn't bomb at the box office.

 

The film is going to be considered canon, according to Ubisoft:

 

Knowing that Ubisoft is taking a bit of a break after Syndicate, I wonder if the film and Fassbender's character will end up serving as a springboard of sorts to bring fresh blood back into the game series (as in, the character/narrative from the film will feature in the games).

 

Uh...Super Mario Brothers?! Street fighter: The Legend of Chun Li?! That one with Mark Walburg?!

 

Oh nice! This is going to be interesting.

 

Hopefully Abstergo gets nuked.

 

Actually...this trailer gives me major AC1 vibes. Callum Lynch= Desmond. Aguilar= Altair. Marion Cotliard=Kristen Bell's character.
I have a feeling that its basically the AC1 story....but repackaged.

 

Yeah, pretty par for the course for a videogame movie. I don't expect much out of this movie :'(

Eh, how far you are into the series? To be honest, just play the Ezio trilogy, Black Flag, Rouge, and Syndicate. Use Wikipedia to look up the stories of the other games and save yourself a couple of bucks.

I guess you're right. I also forgot about Prince of Persia with Jake Gyllenhaal and all of those BEAUTIFUL Resident Evil movies...or Uwe Boll's Far Cry...*tears*
