    close cover, strike gently

Touring bands must really hate Florida.

I'm not familiar with Cage the Elephant. Is Portugal headlining this? Gila River Arena is a big place.

Cage The Elephant have a lot more mainstream popularity and radio play than Portugal does. Cage are definitely headlining.

Okay, that makes more sense. I didn't think Portugal had gotten that big in the last couple years haha.

See them if you have the chance. They are one of my favorite live bands. Can't wait for the new album. They just get better and better with every release.

Love PTM. Such a great fucking band. I'm really hoping they put out something with more jammy songs like on Colors. Will love anything they put out, but it would be cool to see them switch it up, especially since they are such a big touring band now.

Not a bad tour. I've always kind of wanted to dislike Cage the Elephant, but have seen them live twice while other bands I went to see opened for them and their live show is super solid.

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

Going to this tonight, got last minute tickets and trying to brush up on the bands material. Been a casual cage fan for years but just starting to get into Portugal, any recommendations?

If the show is tonight I'd say go straight to Evil Friends. It's their newest album and they will likely play a good amount of songs from it. Then I'd say work backwards from there. I honestly think they get better with every album, and I love their whole discography.

The sound was actually pretty crappy for the entire Portugal set :( They still put on a good show though and I definitely want to check them out again, preferably in small/better sounding venue.
