After this album cycle, I could see Turnover moving to a bigger indie label like Sub Pop, ANTI, Jagjaguwar, Polydor, or Nettwerk. They'd fit in nicely on that festival circuit with the 1975.

The new Sammi Lanzetta album is out today on 6131.

Other than that, the big ones for me this week are Gang Starr, Frail Body and that new Charly Bliss ep. I'm still listening to Great Grandpa and Jimmy Eat World on regular rotation so i'm okay with a light release week.

Not sure how many people on this site are hip hop fans but new Gang Starr (and it's REALLY good) means everything. RIP Guru, Preemo did your legacy absolute justice, but what would you expect from one of the top 3 best rap producers of all time.

I'm only a few songs in so far but this is so good! Only checked him out because I enjoyed his guest vocals and the new Strawberry Girls and Kurt Travis albums, but I'm glad I did.

To be honest I don’t think they’ll get any more popular than they are now. It seems like the Turnover buzz sort of died after they put out Good Nature. I don’t see them making big numbers with this album. What do you think?
