    Noice.

Very different in a good way (not that I dislike anything they've done, just like seeing bands I like take risks that work). Interested to see how others react here.

I think I'm growing into someone you can trust

This goes hard and I fuck with it.

Its obvious that the band has a wide range of influences and this just proves that they can make whatever kind of rock music they want to and they'll kill it. I'd listen to a whole alt/emo album from them like this, but I'm also okay if its just this song and the rest of the album is varied.

This band knows what they’re doing.

Takes me back to the 1990’s VH1 days.

Would love a whole album similar to this. That was a bop!

haha, can't figure out how I feel about that tbh - I like the verses for sure, more than the chorus probably, overall vibe is cool but I really cannot decide what I think it sounds like if that makes sense? Someone mentioned 1990's VH1 above and I can hear where they're coming from, also I feel like it could be Rated R era b-side from QOTSA or something but that's still not accurate enough! Ahh!

    It's really a...song.

I'm sure in the context of the album, it makes a lot more sense. These guys have earned the right to do whatever they want.

I had a lot more fun with this than anything off the last album. Not sure exactly if the look is for the shock value or just to pay homage to that era.

Homage. They do a song or two like that with most of their records, it seems.

Came in here to make pretty much this comment haha. Can see it working well in album context, but I can't see myself ever returning to this song outside of that

I feel like I would be less disappointed with this if they didn't spend pretty much a full month hyping up its release.

This will be fun to see at their live shows, but I don't think I'll likely listen to it again otherwise.
