EDIT: Chorus and outro are great. Good first song, now lets have an entire album of similar or (I dare say it) better quality stuff.

 

Oh... It's actually pretty good? The bridge and chorus are great. Verses are just okay to me.

 

Honestly, looks like something I would see for Alkaline Trio. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

But i like the song.

 

Sounds like it would have fit perfectly on the +44 album.

This is so much better than I hoped for. I am officially on board! Sure the lyrics are meh but Skiba sounds great, production is top notch, and it sounds like the band is reenergized.

I can barely make Matt Skiba out lol. Regardless the song sounds amazing. This track would fit right in on a +44 follow-up.

Not sure how I feel about the album title being California but who cares at this point. This easily sounds like Alkaline Trio had a baby with Blink/+44 and that sounds good to me! When is this record dropping is the next big question..
