These guys can do no wrong. I still love “Dirty Work,” and this sounds like stuff from that record.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it

That record got unfairly shit on so hard but it holds up so well now

It was so far ahead of its time.

There are seven songs on there that would OWN radio in 2019, including a B-side called “Bad Enough For You” that has a “Sugar, we’re going down”-esque your-Mom-knows-this-song-level singalong chorus. They have never lacked hooks.

I would love to see them re-release something from it, ala Anberlin, and finally see them get their due. Having said all that, it’s not exactly like they’re running out of great songs.

Agreed but I'm not mad about it because it brought out Don't Panic which IMO is pop punk perfection with zero filler. I didn't care for their last album as much but this new song gives me hope.

    Composer, but never composed.

Honestly would rather see them refine the Last Young Renegade sound rather than dip back to more of the punk/rock stuff. I feel like these guys do well when they indulge their pop sensibilities. Dirty Work and Last Young Renegade are probably my favourite two records by them.

I'm still convinced that Time Bomb was meant to destroy the airwaves. Never understood how it didn't take off.

I fell away from them for a bit but then heard “birthday” and have been playing that for months.

This sounds like something I will listen to a lot this summer. Can't wait for them to release it.

Dirty work is a lot better than I remember. I listened to it in full a couple times in the last year

That sounds so good. Hope we get the recorded version soon. Sounds like something from the Nothing Personal era imo.
