    False King have released their new single “1-800-HELLSCAPE” with an accompanying video. This post-metalcore banger features an entirely new line-up for the band and brings and entirely new sound that is half sci-fi, half busted tape recorder.

    For fans of Every Time I Die, Daughters and HEALTH.

    Just curious - the post mentions the band has an entirely new line up. So, does that mean all of the old remembers left the band and a completely new group of people got together and took on the same moniker?

    curious what you guys ARE hearing. This was the reference from most of the people I've played it to pre-release, the only thing we were def. chasing is the HEALTH sounding bit at the end.

    sounds more exciting than it is, 3 people leave or had to leave because they didn't have the time to devote to the band due to careers or, frankly, laziness.

    I'm not a great source, in that I don't find myself listening to as much heavy music as I used to, so it's harder for me to make a current reference. But the first two bands that came to mind for me were Fear Before and The Chariot.

    you just made me a very happy camper :) The Always Open Mouth and Everything Is Bleeding... are two of my all time favorite records. Like top 10.

    I'm definitely hearing HEALTH (and a slight dash of Perturbator as well), but also a bit of Deftones in places, and a bit of Nine Inch Nails (though that goes back to the HEALTH thing).

    I do agree on the lack of Daughters of ETID elements - I guess I hear more of a band like Vanna, who always did sound like a lesser (but still good) ETID at times, or maybe even a lighter shade of Code Orange here and there.

    I even get a bit of the sound Finch had on Say Hello To Sunshine as well, weirdly enough...

    Also if this is your band, well done mate, youse are fucking sick.

    can we please not fight about sleek beak it's honesty so innocent and just a really cute skurtism and I really appreciate having it associated with my songs. let's rather dunk on me some more for saying we sound like ETID.

    1-800-HELLSCAPE is amazing, especially when it goes full HEALTH.
    Also people don't forget to head to the streaming sites and check out the second track ACCEPTANCE SPEECH FIRST DRAFT featuring some bad ass lyrics and killer instrumentation.
