What is this?!

 

I don't understand. It seems way too overdone and cheesy.

 

The only thing this reminds me of is that the gun debate is still lost.

I now have a son the same age as the kids at Sandy Hook.

20 fucking kids. And we did nothing. We should have been in the goddamn streets that day and every day after until something changed. But we didn't. I didn't. It's shameful.

I long for a day when this song is simply a reminder of how far we've come, instead of an illustration of how far we have to go.
