The Maine will release a second cover album titled, Covers (Side B), on June 24th. The band will be streaming their cover of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” this Thursday on their website.

    Might be Spider-Man...

I never got their first one...but knowing them it's probably good

  3. First one was great, the Steal My Sunshine cover especially.

I agree, I love how the background track sounds like its on an audio tape that is low on batteries or something, where it speeds up and slows down

They will probably smash that cover. Love this band.

    I can feel the butterflies.

It's not part of their covers EP but I hope everyone's heard of their Girls Just Want to Have Fun cover with Adam Lazzara. Sooooo good. It's part of Punk Goes Pop 5.

    Constant horror and bone-deep dissatisfaction.

That was one of the best songs off of the entire Punk Goes series since mid-'00s.

I'm sure the Bieber cover will be great, but I hope they cover songs more in the spectrum of "Steal My Sunshine." Big big fan of that cover/the sound they gave it.

Curious as to how Jason feels about these guys now?

As I recall he didn't ever really care for them.

EVERYONE hated them back in the day. I remember when I saw them on the AP tour, thinking why do some many people hate them?!

Exactly, I remember all the shit they'd get on AP.

I mean it wasn't the best music, but it's steadily gotten better and better. Pioneer, Forever Halloween and American Candy are all great records. They grew up. I can definitely appreciate that.

I remember when John posted some poetry and he got reamed savagely.
