It's sad to a certain degree of course, but this guy led a long successful full life, can't do much better in life than Stan did. My mom is director of a nursing home of people who are 85+ and when they pass away there that is usually the sentiment. They are gone but lived a full beautiful life, it should be celebrated. Obviously Stans life will be celebrated for the next week.

I know "devastated" is a weird word to use for someone who lived to see 95, but I guess I always hoped my career would lead me to the opportunity to shake his hand and thank him for everything he brought into my life.

I've already posted a long twitter thread (which I'll share).

It feels like I lost another Grandfather, which strangely enough, my own Grandfather did pass away around this time last year.

Yeah, I was hoping that one day I would be able to get enough money to meet him at a con, or somehow run into him.

That being said though, this is incredibly upsetting news.

Can only imagine what it would be like to live to see the things you created go on to be some of the most popular things in entertainment. RIP to a real one

It does make me happy he got to see his work go through so many successful periods and culminated in one of the biggest movie/entertainment franchises in history. I’m glad he was able to experience that before going.

I keep seeing stuff like this and it is so sad. Stan was definitely a great in what he did and a legend.

I hear his cameo for Avengers 4 was already filmed. That’s gonna be sad to see

His Twitter released one of his final recordings.

Like I said before, I really regret not getting the chance to meet him, and seeing new stuff like this just further cements those feelings/thoughts.
