a 20th Anniversary tour that doesn't play their hometown?

Edit: I didn't realize this is just the first leg

I assume leg 2 of the North America tour will be east coast, based on all these dates out so far. Fingers crossed I can catch at least a pair of shows to see some different albums!

    Edit: just saw your edit

Feels kinda weird to celebrate a 20 year anniversary for a band that just kicked out its only founding member that never left the band at any point, but to each their own I suppose.

It's none of my business, really and if the fans like it then fuck me. Haha

    Wait who got kicked out?

Pretty sure Eddie left for personal reasons, nothing I've read makes it sound like they kicked him out.

Yeah I just double checked. That was my bad. It was reported as "parting ways" I think because they didn't want to put him on blast, so that was my bad. Shoulda used better words. Apologies.

The possibility of seeing Where You Want To Be in full is very appealing. But can Adam do it?

I was gonna say I wanna go cause I've never seen TBS but then I remembered I have oop. I'd still go tho cause I'm nostalgia trash and this sounds up my alley cause I haven't kept up with their catalog since louder now

To me, the TAYF lineup is the original lineup. The previous singer was completely different than Adam. You can't purchase any songs from the "first" lineup and it's not good anyway.

Worried this will be hell on Adam’s voice, but props to them treating the fans to these kinds of shows.

adam’s voice will be fine, i’d assume. i’m sure they’re practicing and prepping for longer sets, plus he sings a bit differently now than he used to probably to not strain his voice so much.

also, really excited to hear the two new songs on that “career spanning” album. the press release i got said that it will “hint at the direction” they plan on taking

Im deff the target audience of this kinda thing haha. If it comes here I'll deff go. I can't believe theres enough of a demand for them to play 2 nights though. Although it sucks that it is a gamble for which album you will see, and I am certainly not up for seeing them 2 nights in a row lol. When I saw this being shared at first people were making it sound like it was going to be all 3 albums in one night

    Signal Vs. Noise Prestigious

I'm a little bit annoyed by this tour, cause I would kill for a Where You Want To Be set but honestly don't care about a Louder Now set. So picking a date is gonna be a toss up

  24. Sean Murphy

    Prestigious Supporter

it is a bit weird/annoying that they're letting people in some other countries know what shows their dates are getting but not any US shows. There is definitely enough pull for both albums for both nights to sell out even if they announce them, this is purely so that the fans who want to see both have to buy both nights.
